Please read through this and then download the Critiera itself. The Architectural Committee is updating the details to make this process easier for you.
SCREEN DOORS - There are 7 screen doors approved for Nepenthe. Two may be purchased at Emigh Hardware (but there may be a wait) and five are available at Home Depot. The Home Depot doors are Andersen doors and must be ordered in bronze with nickel hardware. The actual product number is available at the office.
Retractable Screen doors - two retractable screen doors are approved for Nepenthe. They are available at Home Depot. See the office for details.
FRONT DOORS - two styles of doors are allowed. One flat, the other with panels.
COLOR OF FRONT DOORS - five colors are allowed. See the office for details.
WINDOWS -
Several windows have been previously approved. We will post those models and designs here soon.
No frame can be wider than 2.5 inches. Color must be BRONZE or BROWN matching the current frames. If wood trim is taken off, it must be replaced at the same size and width and with quality workmanship.
PATIO DOORS or PATIO WINDOWS - if these are not visible from the street, alley, or common areas, the homeowner may install their choice without Committee approvals. However, installations must not compromise the siding or structural integrity of the building in any way.
